I’m Adina, a colorado girl and a lover of life in search of strength, meaning, passion and adventure.
-I want to know what hunger feels like,
-I want to know what it means to wake up one morning and be unsure of where I’ll be the next,
-I want to feel the earth and the wind and the snow as if its all I have,
-I want to experience the freedom of no possessions,
-I want to see through the eyes of the underprivileged and take their blistered hands as my own,
-I want to give back as much as I take
-I want to breath without pollution,
-I want to live in the uninhabited.
I’m just a nineteen year old girl on a journey.
I’m a thinker, a writer, a philosopher and a student.
I love my road bike and my running shoes.
I adore the sun,
I live for the mountains and the earth.
I have a passion for all things in their natural, organic state.
I hope to become a part time yoga instructor
I hope to spend a large chunk of my life serving in Africa, wherever it is I am needed.
I hope to never stop learning, thinking and discovering.
I hope to travel…
to live out of a backpack, and experience what its like to have no possessions..
I hope to make the most out of where I am at the time.
Currently, I am studying to become a self-sufficient, sustainable and intentional individual, a yoga teacher and a nutritionist and living in a hippie town set in the heart of the Colorado Rockies. I came here for the adventure, the outdoors, the outdoor program and to be surrounded by people with similar passions.
I Run. I bike. I hike. I rock climb. I Snowboard. I sing. I dance. I eat. I love backpacking and stomping in rain puddles. I’m a little bit of a gym rat. I’m a self-proclaimed yogi. I use the excuse of being a barista, but really I’m just a coffee addict. I’m still picking up the remaining pieces from my struggles with an ED. (I’ll let you read my diary) I’m growing, I’m changing, I’m learning and I’m trying to give back.
I see the life I have been given as a gift and this is my journey as I try to explore its potential.
Sometimes I feel I have to many thoughts to contain in my head. This is my blog to share my experiences with training, workouts, recipes, motivation, and thoughts as I explore what it means to live a full, challenging and natural life. Feel free to explore my tips about running, fueling, and health that will help you lead a fit and sustainable life and make your world a little bit richer and hopefully a little bit greener.
